Civic Advocacy Training

From the organizer, Look2Justice:

Look2Justice is hosting a virtual civic advocacy training next Friday, September 25th to share about how you can get involved in the upcoming legislative session. This virtual session is free to all to join and accessibility options are available if needed. The training will be delivered by Look2Justice staff with supporting materials provided by Disability Rights Washington (DRW).

The following topics will be covered:

  • Why advocacy & voting is important at state level

  • Light overview of the state legislative process

  • Example of types of issues being proposed this upcoming session

  • Current advocacy opportunities
