From the organizers, FEEST:
A Community Dinner & Youth Research Report-Out hosted by FEEST
Come eat. Come listen. Come be part of it!
FEEST is bringing back Make Food, Make Fam — a FREE community dinner rooted in food, connection, and the kind of conversations that move things forward.
This year, our youth have been leading a community research project asking hard and important questions: what's working in our South Seattle and South King County schools, and what isn't? On September 19th, they're sharing what they found — and inviting the whole community into the conversation about what comes next. Their findings are a starting point for real, intentional action toward changes in people, practices, and policies that put youth power at the center.
And of course — there's food. The meal is made from scratch, cooked by youth and community members together. If you'd like to be part of making the dinner happen, you can sign up to join a cooking station on September 18th or the morning of September 19th before the event begins. No experience needed — just bring yourself.
Whether you're coming to cook, to eat, to listen, or all three, we're glad you're here.
