Community Planning Session: Resilient Communities Reentry Spanning Services

You are invited to a Veterans, Seniors, and Human Services Levy (VSHSL) virtual Community Planning Session to share plans and provide feedback on an upcoming funding opportunity: Resilient Communities Reentry Spanning Services.

This investment will provide services that support reentry of formerly incarcerated persons in King County for interim housing, systems navigation, family support services, employment resources, flexible financial assistance, and access to culturally responsive healing practices. This program will prioritize persons or communities who are disproportionately represented within the criminal legal system.

Register here to participate

For access needs, please contact Marjan Didra at mdidra@kingcounty.gov by 5 p.m., Friday, April 12, 2024.

At this Community Planning Session, participants will discuss:

  • How can the Reentry Spanning Services strategy improve access for individuals to attain employment?

  • How can this strategy support communities that are disproportionately represented within the criminal legal system?

  • How can this RFP advance flexibility for providers while tracking the services delivered and outcomes achieved?

  • How can we strive toward being racially, ethnically, culturally, and regionally inclusive in serving our communities?

  • Technical assistance and capacity building
