Thank you for your interest in serving on the Communities of Opportunity Governance Group / Advisory Board!

Communities of Opportunity is seeking individuals interested in serving on the Governance Group (GG)/Advisory Board for one to three-year terms. The Communities of Opportunity GG/Advisory Board will guide the implementation of the COO activities and serve in an advisory role for the COO elements of the Best Starts for Kids levy.

Members must be King County residents - residents of Districts 3, 6 and 9 especially encouraged to apply! Stipends currently not available for participation.

PLEASE NOTE: Information provided on application forms will be a public record subject to free and open examination by any person under the Washington State Public Records Act (RCW 42.56.250). Applications submitted will be considered on a rolling basis. Appointments to the COO Governance Group/Advisory Board are made by the King County Executive and confirmed by the King County Council.
