Tubman Center for Health and Freedom’s Working Our Solutions Project addresses the urgent need for more BIPOC health practitioners by driving policy change to secure public investments in innovative, community-designed healthcare workforce solutions. Among its tactics, Tubman Center collaborated with government agencies and elected officials at a local, county, state, and federal level for policy development and workforce strategies and partnering with educational institutions to create community-rooted health career pathways and training.
