Join the latest Co-Op learning series event, this time a tour and deep dive on the Crow Woods Co-Housing community. Attendees will be able to tour the nine-unit co-housing community in the Northgate neighborhood of Seattle, and hear about the architecture and development process, financing and co-housing community organization.

The conversation will cover:

  • Architectural & development aspects such as ADU and DADU development & permitting, zoning, and developer and project management roles

  • Financing and financing entity: LLC funding and financing sources (banks and other sources), and payment details how Jane's LLC got financings from banks or other sources, how they have paid off them or refinance them.

  • Co-Housing community: outreach, organizing, operations, and governance of the co-housing community.

Speaker bio:

Jane Lester is a retired pediatrician who recently founded Crow Woods, a small urban cohousing community in north Seattle. By the end of this summer, all nine households will have moved into our homes in this urban oasis among the tall trees.
