From the organizer, Housing Development Consortium:
Join us for the kickoff to HDC's 2026 Affordable Housing Week! This event will bring together attendees from across the affordable housing, policy, philanthropic, and community sectors to launch a week of advocacy and education centered on the themes of “Charting the Future.” We will be gathering in the Wyncote room at Town Hall Seattle. Doors open at 9:30 for a 30-minute networking opportunity, and the program will run from 10:00am to 12:00pm. Light refreshments will be served during the networking period before and after.
The kickoff will feature a keynote presentation by Gregg Colburn, founder and academic director of the Housing Futures Center at the University of Washington, author of Homelessness is a Housing Problem, and Associate Professor at the University of Washington, College of Built Environments; legislative panels featuring participants such as King County Councilmember Teresa Mosqueda, and a presentation of awards.
More details will be shared as we near the event. Register today! Affordable Housing Week Kickoff & Legislative Roundtable
