From the organizers:
We’re excited to invite you to the launch of It’s Time, a new community zine that features the art and storytelling of currently incarcerated people serving long sentences, their family members, and survivors of violence. Their stories speak to the gap between changing legislation and the lived reality of those still denied a path to freedom.
Join Look2Justice, the ACLU of Washington, and Living & Loving Under the Carceral State at ARTS King Street Station during the Pioneer Square First Thursday Artwalk.

ARTS at King Street Station (303 S. Jackson St., Top Floor, Seattle, WA 98104)
As part of the evening, we’ll host a New Year card-making station where guests can write cards to people currently incarcerated. We’ll have supplies, prompts, and examples available. Whether you write one card or many, your words become part of a shared practice of care and solidarity.
This is a chance to gather, create, and honor the voices at the center of this work. We hope you’ll join us.
