This February 2026, Social Movement Technologies is holding the Storytelling to Inspire & Activate training intensive on making your organizing captivating and inspiring through the stories we tell.
Due to its popularity and strong feedback, SMT is offering this intensive for the third time in response to demand. The training consists of five sessions that cover the key elements of narrative, storytelling, and visuals, with a focus on activating sharing in an ethical, trauma-informed manner. It also includes topics like building an effective amplification network, partnering with micro-influencers, and the best combination of tools for documenting stories.
Extensive strong and weak examples will be discussed, along with common pitfalls to avoid, and a chance to practice and get individual feedback on your work. At the end of the series, you will have done at least one interview with a storyteller and worked with them to shape a powerful piece of content rooted in their story.

Debido a su popularidad, SMT está ofreciendo este curso intensivo por tercera vez. La formación consta de cinco sesiones que cubren los elementos clave de una narrativa, una historia y los elementos visuales, con un enfoque en cómo amplificar y compartir estas historias de una manera ética. También incluye temas como la creación de una red de amplificación eficaz, la colaboración con microinfluencers y la mejor combinación de herramientas para documentar historias.
Se discutirán numerosos ejemplos positivos y negativos, junto con los errores comunes que hay que evitar, y se ofrecerá la oportunidad de practicar y obtener comentarios individuales sobre el trabajo de cada uno.
