Communities of Rooted Brilliance - College Youth Financial Assistance program

CRB is offering assistance to college-aged youth (ages 18-24) who are from first generation newcomer families who require financial assistance for needs outside of rental assistance.  

Eligibility requirements include: 

  • Must be part of higher education institution (community, trade, 2-year, 4-year) in King County

  • Must have Washington State residence

  • Must have proof of Rental Housing

  • Please let the youth know to send proof of eligibility requirements to my email alan@rootedbrilliance.org

Funds are first-come, first-serve. Once funding has been used, the application will be closed.

If found eligible, youth will receive a one-time payment that can be up to $500 depending on the need.
