King County Community Development Block Grants (CDGB)
King County Community Development is pleased to announce the 2025 Request for Proposals (RFP) for 2026 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Capital Projects.
Applicants have an opportunity to be awarded federal HUD funds for eligible 2026 CDBG non-housing projects that serve low- and moderate-income communities. In order to be considered for a grant, applicants must submit a pre-application in ZoomGrants, which will be available online starting May 2, 2025.
Applicants who have NOT received CDBG funds from King County within the past three years, OR that have capital projects, will be required to schedule a 1:1 online pre-application meeting with Community Development staff prior to submitting a pre-application.

The Pre-Application period ends May 19th. Organizations who have submitted an eligible pre-application may then work on a full application in ZoomGrants beginning May 26th and closing June 20th.
Certain Geographic and Eligibility requirements must be met. If your project is physically located within the City of Seattle, Bellevue, Kent, Auburn, Federal Way, Renton, Shoreline, Kirkland, Redmond, or Burien please check with those Cities’ CDBG programs.
At least 30% of your clientele must live in King County Consortium Cities or Unincorporated King County. For more information, please visit the Consortium Website and King County CDBG Guidelines.
