Ongoing Capacity Building and Coaching resources
Through the COO Learning Community and Best Starts for Kids, there are resources and supports for organizational and individual capacity building and training opportunities to grow and strengthen leadership, strategy, operational, coalition and power building skills, knowledge and connections.

In addition, coaching and capacity building consultant support is available to COO contracted and non-contracted organizations across many operational and tactical areas, including:

Strategic planning
Legal capacity building, for COO-funded organizations on the following types of legal issues:
Nonprofit corporate governance, such as drafting and amending bylaws;
501(c)(3) compliance and other nonprofit compliance issues;
Fiscal sponsorship agreements;
Contract review and drafting;
Trademark, copyright, and other intellectual property issues;
Employment issues, such as employee benefits and correct treatment of employees and independent contractors;
Commercial leases and other real estate legal issues
