Washington Youth & Families Fund (Youth & Young Adult Project Funding)
From Building Changes:
Building Changes is excited to announce the 2025 Washington Youth & Families Fund (WYFF) Request for Proposals — now open! We’re inviting applications from organizations across Washington state working to prevent and end youth and young adult homelessness.
This year’s RFP will award $250,000–$500,000 per project to support organizations advancing Diversion-first approaches that help young people ages 12–24 find safe, stable housing—particularly those who are Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC) and/or LGBTQIA2S+.
Through this opportunity, Building Changes aims to strengthen community-driven strategies that:
🏠 Promote Diversion-first approaches that help young people identify and achieve their own housing solutions.
💸 Expand flexible funds that remove barriers such as deposits, documentation, or transportation costs.
🤝 Build coordinated community systems that train and align providers to sustain Diversion-first practices statewide.
Grantees will receive up to three years of funding, technical assistance, and capacity-building support to implement and strengthen their projects.
