  • Black Dot 1437 South Jackson Street Seattle, WA, 98144 United States (map)

Are you an entrepreneur, startup, or small business? Do you need capital? Join us Tuesday (05/14/2019) to learn about the IDA Grant and other funding opportunities. Starts at 6pm at Black Dot Underground 1437 S Jackson St, Seattle, WA 98144.

Come learn how you can receive thousands of dollars for your small business through Mercy Corps Northwest and their IDA grant program!

This is a GRANT. It is a matching fund grant, matched 8 to 1. Over six months the awardee must save $500 and take 12 hours of business training, along with all the other things that come with starting your business, licensees, ein number, etc. and at the end Mercy Corp gives you $4000 plus your $500 back, totaling $500 in six months

Hannah Cotter of Mercy Corps NW will be teaching the workshop.

Hannah graduated from Scripps College in Claremont, CA in 2015 with a degree in economics. After graduation, Hanna worked at Kiva.org – a platform where businesses around the world can crowdfund loans online with 0% interest. Presently, Hanna's work at Mercy Corps focuses on providing micro loans, IDA matched-savings grants, and business education connections directly to entrepreneurs in Washington.

Dinner will be provided.
