Orientation for KCJI’s HAZMAT Technician/Asbestos Worker free job training

WHEN: Thursday October 10, 2019, 10:30am-12:30pm

WHERE: Federal Way Public Library, 848 South 320th St., Federal Way, WA

COST: All costs of this program will be covered

3-week HAZMAT training is scheduled for Oct 28-Nov 15, Mon-Fri (7am-4pm) in Federal Way

Starting wages of $20+/hr

Program requirements include but not limited to:

·         Resident of King County

·         At least 18 years of age

·         Must be legal to work in United States

·         Must pass drug test

·         Must be low-income and eligible for Basic Food Employment & Training (BFET)

Program includes:

·         OSHA Hazardous Waste Operations & Emergency Operations (HAZWOPER) 40 hour training

·         Asbestos Abatement Worker training

·         Lead Renovator training

·         Adult First Aid/CPR/AED

·         Confined Space Safety training

·         Employment case management

·         Job readiness and job placement support
