Group Health - Sponsorship of Events and Learning Grants
GHF is launching two funding opportunities to support organizations and projects throughout Washington State and along our borders. We look forward to working with people who shape our learning through their efforts to improve health equity and advance community aspirations for a vibrant, healthy future in Washington. The Foundation has a broad view of health and the many factors that contribute to individual, family, and community well-being. That broad view, along with our status as a 501(c)(4) organization, means that we can—and want to—fund a wide range of organizations and projects engaged in advocacy, leadership development, cultural reclamation, community healing, civic participation, organizing, anti-racism work, narrative change, and much more. Please help spread the word!
Event Sponsorships: we are now accepting sponsorship requests to support community and culturally-specific events, meetings, conferences, and fundraisers. We have a special interest in sponsoring events that have both short-term benefits for host organizations and the people they serve, while making progress toward the Foundation’s long-term vision of health equity in Washington State.
Community Learning Grants support people-centered and community-led approaches to changing systems and improving well-being. In 2019, and again in 2020, Group Health Foundation will invite proposals for funding. Through our open application process, the Foundation will make three-year, general operating grants to organizations throughout the state.
